Badmus Mohammed, aged 40 has been allegedly shot dead by a security night guard, Rasaq Moshood, as he arrived home on Saturday, September 10 at Ibuowo Estate, Okinni, Egbedore LGA, Osun State, on Saturday, September 10.
The deceased’s landlord, Kazeem Jimoh had told journalists that he was at a bar with Badmus till midnight on Friday, September 9, before he found out about the late Badmus’s death through a phone call.
Kazeem additionally reported that his tenant had been killed at the front of his house, with his door left ajar.
The Police spokesperson, Superintendent Yemisi Opalola confirmed the unfortunate incident while noting that three-night guards had already been arrested with their Dane guns.
The case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department -SCID, for further investigation, Opalola concluded.
