Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg who took part in his first jiu-jitsu martial arts tournament on Saturday, May 6 has carted home silver and gold medals, according to his posts on social media.
The jiu-jitsu competition had taken place at Woodside High School in California close to the Silicon Valley headquarters of Meta.
Meanwhile, Zuckerberg captioned his post, saying: “Just competed in my first jiu-jitsu tournament and won some medals for the Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu team,” Zuckerberg wrote on Facebook and Instagram.
The 38-year-old tech billionaire had previously told an interviewer in 2022 that he has begun learning martial arts during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, saying that the sport’s primal nature aided him to boost his energy level and face challenges at work.
