Chelsea Football Club has officially announced the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as the head coach of the men’s team, starting from the upcoming 2023/24 season. The Argentine tactician, known for his dynamic and captivating style of play, will embark on his new role on July 1, 2023, signing a two-year contract with a club option for an additional year.
With Mauricio having previous experience in the Premier League, as well as coaching stints in Spain and France, the 51-year-old brings a wealth of expertise to his new position.
Notably, Pochettino’s recent success came at Paris Saint-Germain, where he guided the club to a Ligue 1 title and the Coupe de France.
To support Pochettino in his coaching endeavors, his staff will include Jesus Perez, Miguel d’Agostino, Toni Jimenez, and Sebastiano Pochettino.
