The CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg announced at the Conversations Business Messaging conference that Meta would be making WhatsApp public with WhatsApp Cloud API.
What this means is that conversations with customers would be more accurate with customers and this would help businesses to deliver much better experiences through better communication methods with customers.
“This would allow businesses and developers to build on top of WhatsApp to customize their experiences and respond to customers quickly and easily.” He said in a post on Facebook.
He added that this is an important step in helping more businesses connect with their customers. Meta would also be introducing premium features like allowing about five people in a team to respond to WhatsApp messages using only one number. They said this new feature does not affect the end-to-end encryption and security of WhatsApp and the only difference is that the cloud is seen as a third party using the software for you.
