A 19-year-old student of Kogi State University, Akungba, Fauziyah Mohammed, who went missing, has been found in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Fauziyah, a final-year student, could not explain how she landed in Ilorin. She recalled being on campus in Akungba when her book fell. As she bent to pick it up, she suddenly found herself in Ilorin with no memory of how she got there.
She was found wandering in the Ajegunle Isale-Egbejila area of Ilorin by some residents, who handed her over to the NSCDC. The corps immediately contacted her family, after which her uncle arrived and took her home.
The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are still very vague, with many questions still left hanging in the air. Meanwhile, the NSCDC has asked the public to be security-conscious and report any suspicious activities.
