Multichoice DStv has has told its viewers of its intention to ban the broadcast of the religious TV network, Emmanuel TV.
Emmanuel TV was established by the deceased founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, T.B. Joshua.
This new development is coming after a controversial documentary was released against the clergyman by the British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC earlier this week.
The viral documentary features individuals alleged to be ex-members of the church who confess to having suffered molestation and abuse at the hands of the late prophet.
Multichoice had in a message it showed for its subscribers, said that the discontinuation will take effect from January 17, 2024.
The message read, “Dear viewer, please note that Emmanuel TV will stop airing on the 17th of January 2024. Thank you for watching.”
Asides bidding farewell with MultiChoice, Emmanuel TV will also discontinue airing on StarSat and various other pay-TV platforms.
Earlier this week, a controversial three-part documentary produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation –BBC revealed the atrocities and sexual crimes committed by the late TB Joshua against his disciples.
