The National power grid, which failed earlier today, has started to get better, with power coming back in some areas of Lagos and Ibadan. This is the third time the grid has failed this week and the eighth time this year.
At 1:25 pm, electricity was turned back on, with the national grid producing 450 megawatts (MW) of power. Here’s how the power is being shared:
Ikeja DisCo gets 130 MW, Eko DisCo gets 70 MW, Benin DisCo gets 70 MW, Ibadan DisCo gets 100 MW, and Abuja DisCo gets 80 MW.
Experts say these failures happen because of poor infrastructure, technical problems, and financial issues
