Super Eagles player, Wilfred Ndidi was rated highly for his fantastic performance at the pre-season-friendly game with Sevilla.
Ndidi who missed the world cup qualifiers against Ghana due to an injury has recovered and is back to playing for his team, he really did put up an impressive front in the win against Sevilla. Following his brilliant performance, at the game yesterday he was rated by Leicester Mercury as a seven over 10.
And commenting on Ndidi, Leicester Mercury wrote:” Stepped in to intercept at multiple moments around the pitch. He looked far more energetic than you would expect of someone who had only played 60 minutes since March, which bodes well for the new season.”
Wilfred Ndidi is slowly regaining his fitness after recovering from his injury as he missed the remaining part of the 2021/22 season after he suffered an injury in his knee in March, he also sustained a minor injury in the preseason friendly but he has recovered from that.
Ndidi featured in the preseason game against Derby which was his first appearance since his injury.
