The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA has cautioned the Kwara State Government to take severe actions against electoral misdemeanors in the state.
Zainab Saidu, the Head of, the Minna Operations Office of NEMA made the charge in a statement released on Thursday, 9 February in Ilorin.
According to Saidu, “The agency believes that by taking preventative steps, one can ensure a peaceful and orderly election.
She further revealed that NEMA would not be resting on its oars to educate Nigerians on peacefulness, especially in the conduct of the 2023 general polls.
Saidu had also charged politicians and residents of Kano to exercise their franchise and responsibilities without any form of violence or fear during the election season.
