As we all know, the African Track Cycling Championship is scheduled to take place from Thursday 14th July to Sunday 17th July and Nigeria is the host country.
Nigeria and 14 other countries will take part in the championship which will be held in the Veldrome of Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja.
Sunday Dare, the Honorable Minister for Youth and Sports Development, accompanied by Giandomenico Massari, President of the Cycling Federation of Nigeria, and some other senior ministry officials, went to the venue to ensure things were for the competition.
He gave a welcome speech to all participants, advising them to do their best and assuring them of a stress-free competition.
A delegate from the African Cycling Federation led by Dr. Mohammed Wagiuh Azzam paid a friendly visit to the sports minister.
