A 27-year-old Nigerian fashion designer, Samuel Chinecherem Ezeh, has entered the Guinness World Records after creating a robe with the longest sleeves ever made.
Guinness World Records confirmed that the sleeves of Ezeh’s creation measure an extraordinary 51.20 metres (167.97 feet), surpassing remarkable global benchmarks — longer than the Statue of Liberty’s height of 46.5 metres and even exceeding the length of an Olympic-sized swimming pool, which is 50 metres.
Ezeh, a student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, achieved the feat by merging his tailoring expertise with determination.
Sharing his vision for the record-breaking piece, he said, “I wish to take it on a tour to display it in different countries and cities to show the world what it looks like.”
