Popular Nigerian gospel actor and producer Moses Korede Are also known as Baba Gbenro of the popular Mount Zion series Abattoir is dead. His friend and fellow actor Oluwaseun Adejumobi announced his death on his Instagram page in a message, “Heaven’s gain again. General has gone to rest,” accompanied by the picture of the gospel actor.
Baba Gbenro was an important landmark in the Abattoir and remained a leading light in the Christian film world; he opened the Calvary Movies Drama Ministry, ran Calvary Movies Television, using them as avenues to send messages of hope and faith.
His involvement with Abattoir and commitment to gospel film actually commanded respect from fans and colleagues alike. He will surely be missed in that tight circle that witnessed his influence in Christian entertainment in Nigeria.
