Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, has dismissed Goddy-Mbakwe Chimamaka Precious, a student, in connection with the recent assault on a lecturer from the Department of Theatre and Film Studies.
It will be recalled that the female student was accused of allegedly disrespecting the male lecturer after a video surfaced online.
She was seen assaulting the lecturer, Dr. Chukwudi Okoye, in the video.
The attack occurred after the lecturer interrupted a TikTok video she was recording on campus.
In an official expulsion letter shared on its Facebook page on Friday, dated 13 February 2025, the university, through the Acting Registrar, Mr. Victor I.
