The National Orientation Agency, NOA, has commenced a nationwide sensitization and advocacy program to educate Nigerians on the forthcoming National Population and Housing Census.
The Director-General of the agency, Garba Abari, disclosed this information when he appeared on the News Agency of Nigeria Forum in Abuja on Sunday, March 26.
According to him, the sensitization was to enlighten the public about the importance of census toward promoting national planning and development in a country.
Abari had then gone on to appeal to the media, Civil Society Organisations, CSOs, religious and traditional leaders, and other stakeholders to sensitize the public on the upcoming exercise and encourage them to participate fully and consciously.
