The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) announced on Tuesday that seven of the 25 ships anticipated at the Lagos Port Complex were carrying petroleum goods.
Butane gas, petrol, and vehicle gasoline were among the petroleum products listed.
The remaining 18 ships due at the port were carrying bulk salt, general cargo, containers, boats, bulk sugar, bulk gypsum, sulfur, wheat bran, and frozen fish, according to the statement.
According to the NPA, the ships are slated to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex between February 14 and February 25.
According to the authorities, a ship carrying gasoline is ready to dock at the port.
NPA further stated that 18 additional ships had arrived at the port and were dumping bulk wheat, general cargo, containers, soya bean meal, bulk sugar, bulk fertilizer, trucks, frozen fish, petrol, and bulk urea.
