A group of unidentified gunmen has reportedly killed three personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Imo State.
The incident had occurred at the EkeIsu market in Obiangwu Community at the Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of the state has thrown the community into panic.
A community source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, had told our correspondent that the killed individuals had been attacked in the wee hours of Monday morning, and at the time of writing this report, it was gathered that the lifeless bodies of the victims were still at the scene.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the police in the state, Henry Okoye, had confirmed the killing of the three NSCDC personnel, while reiterating that the security operatives had moved into the community and restored normalcy.
