The management of the Nigerian Television Authority, –NTA, has said that the fire incident that erupted on Sunday at its Sokoto Network centre has been restrained.
NTA had made this disclosure through its official X handle on Sunday night.
The management had revealed that the fire was put out by the combined efforts of staff and firefighters.
Hours before, the television station announced that a fire razed parts of its operational building at the Sokoto Network Centre.
It revealed that the fire may have been caused by high electricity voltage.
The statement also revealed that the inferno had not spoilt the station’s studio, equipment, and other delicate operational areas.
The fire lasted for over three hours, but it has now been put out.
The OB Van, studio equipment and office furniture were thankfully saved from the blaze.
