Manchester United has officially announced that they’ve reached a consensus with Ajax over their forward, Anthony.

This announcement was made on their official website today, the deal saw the United part with the sum of €86m.

It seems Ten Hag is interested in bringing some members of his previous club, Ajax into Manchester United, as some months ago, he signed Lisandro Martinez, and now he has signed Antony too.

Antony has scored 31 goals and bagged 27 assists in 134 appearances for Ajax and Sao Paulo. He also has two goals and two assists for his Brazilian national team.

The statement from United read:” Manchester United has reached an agreement with Ajax for the transfer of Antony, subject to a medical, player terms being finalized, and international clearance.”

“Antony has 31 goals and 27 assists in 134 club appearances for Ajax and Sao Paulo, and two goals and two assists in nine senior appearances for his native Brazil.”

“He has won two Eredivisie titles, and a gold medal in the 2020 Summer Olympics.”

It seems Erik Ten Hag is very serious with his search for notable players to strengthen his squad, as he was able to entice Casemiro to ditch featuring in the champions league for moving to Manchester United. With just some days before the transfer window closes, every club is trying their possible best to quickly sign whomever they are interested in.

United is slowly bouncing back to its original self, as they were able to win their last two matches, after a terrible start at the premier league games. They are currently eighth on the premier league table with six points.
