Popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator, Oga Sabinus, got some sad news recently on his trip to Uganda for a show on Saturday, October 5th. The event went successfully well, but unfortunately in his Instastory, he disclosed that he lost his wristwatch valued at about $11,000 (approximately ₦18 million).
Comedian burst into tears, saying he wished he had left the expensive watch in Nigeria.
Fans quickly reacted with their usual humor. One noted, “Sabinus go enter wahala for skit, still enter wahala for real life. Sorry sabi nwa.” Another added, “Uganda no be so oo… we dey maintain.” Others couldn’t but make light of the situation with one saying, “11k dollars???….make I go buy blue shirt and tie.”
Despite the sad defeat, fans still manage to make fun over this development and show affection toward the comedian.
