Adebo Ogundoyin has been reelected as the Speaker of the 10th Oyo State House of Assembly.
Governor Seyi Makinde officially endorsed Ogundoyin during the electrification commissioning event in Olorunda Ogunsola, Idi Obi, Karen, and Jigan communities in Ona-Ara Local Government area.
The inauguration of the 10th Assembly, presided over by Clerk Yetunde Awe, witnessed Ogundoyin’s uncontested reelection.
The nomination was put forward by Adeola Bamidele, representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju state constituency, and seconded by Babajide Gabriel from Ibadan North Constituency 2.
As the highest-ranking member, Ogundoyin has been an integral part of the Assembly since 2018. Additionally, Abiodun Fadeyi emerged unopposed as the deputy speaker, representing the Ona-Ara state constituency.
