The governor of Abia State, Senator Orji Kalu, had on Monday, April 3 announced the death of his wife, Ifeoma who was 61 when she passed away.
The Chief Whip of the Senate announced on his official social media page.
Meanwhile, the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, had expressed shock over the death of Kalu’s wife, wishing him the strength to bear the loss of his wife’s death.
Ohanaeze, in a statement by its spokesperson, Dr. Alex Ogbonnia ed that although death was an inevitable reality for all mortals, the invaluable services she rendered to humanity while alive would not be forgotten.
