Purported kidnappers have abducted five people including a National Youth Service Corps member (NYSC) and two passengers in Ondo State.
Two passengers had however, escaped with varying degrees of gunshots injuries.
At the time of filing this report, it was gathered that the dead bodies of the driver and the female passenger occupying the front seat, at the time of the attack, have been deposited at the morgue of Adelabu Hospital in Ifon.
The tragedy had occurred along the Ifon/Owo Expressway in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo on Friday night.
Reports had it that the kidnappers numbering about fifteen, and armed with AK-47 rifles had ambushed the Sienna bus at 11:00 pm.
SP Fumilayo Odunlami- Omisanyan, the State Police spokesperson, who confirmed the incident had said that the details were still sketchy but he made reassurances that his men were actively combing the forest to ensure that the victims are rescued and the kidnappers, caught.
