Former Napoli Striker, Roberto El Pampa Sosa is of the opinion that Napoli’s sensational striker, Victor Osimhen is on the same level with Manchester City Striker Erling Haaland.
Osimhen has been having the best of his season, as he has been sensational in Europe, having scored 25 goals and five assists in 28 appearances for Napoli. Osimhen has been instrumental in Napoli’s first place in the Serie A table.
Sosa who is impressed with Osimhen’s performance has compared with Erling Haaland who currently has 42 goals in 37 appearances for Man City.
According to him, it’s difficult for him to say that Osimhen is not good technically, Sosa recalled Osimhen’s goal against Roma which won the best goal of the month in series A and that is an indicator that Osimhen is the future of football, and he’ll win many titles if he’s consistent, and this makes him at the same level as Haaland
“It’s essential to play in Serie A. I find it hard to say Osimhen is not good technically,” Sosa said per Napoli Magazine.
“The first game against Roma comes to mind. Without technique, the goal he scored would have been impossible. Osimhen is the future of football, he will win many titles. He is at Haaland’s level.
