The Joint Labour Movement leadership in Osun State has rejected the staff audit suggested by the state government, calling for a proper briefing on the exercise.
This position of the labor leaders had come after forms had been circulating among workers by a consulting firm hired by the state government for counting the number of workers on its payroll.
Meanwhile, the leadership of the Joint Labour Movement, including the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress in the state, have announced that they were rejecting the exercise due to the hardship experienced by their workers and pensioners in the past after an audit like that was made.
