Pakistan has solidified a strategy to deport all unauthorized immigrants, including a large number of Afghan nationals, as the imminent November 1 deadline approaches, as stated by the interim Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti on Thursday.
Emphasizing the challenges involved, Bugti affirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to expel all illegal immigrants. The government is establishing temporary centers to process these individuals, with assistance provided to those choosing to depart Pakistan voluntarily.
Islamabad had previously declared the expulsion of unauthorized immigrants in October, asserting their ineligibility to remain beyond the set deadline.
