A Pakistani suicide bomber killed nine police officers and injured 16 others on Monday, March 6 during an attack on their truck in southwestern Pakistan, according to police officials.
A senior police officer had told AFP:
“The suicide bomber had been riding a motorbike and it hit the truck from behind,”
The incident had occurred close to Dhadar, the main town of the Kachhi district, approximately 120 kilometers (75 miles) southeast of Quetta in Balochistan.
Pictures released after the incident showed the police truck lying upside down on the road with its windows shattered.
Arrests have yet to be made as of the time of filing this report.
