The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had on Tuesday in the FCT, ordered all intra-party litigants to withdraw their respective court cases.
The party issued the order through a statement released by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Debo Ologunagba after an NWC meeting.
Ologunagba had said that the committee had given the notice after carefully evaluating the current state of the party.
Ologunagba added that the order was issued by the party’s NWC pursuant to the Constitution of the PDP as revised in 2017 and was in line with the spirit of unity and reconciliation.
In his words:
“The NWC enjoins all party leaders, analytical stakeholders and members to remain united and keep promoting the values for which the PDP is known for,”
Finally, Ologunagba remarked that the NWC had considered and approved the report of the Establishment Committee for the nomination of a substantive director-general of the Peoples Democratic Institute.
