The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has released a sharp statement criticizing President Bola Tinubu, who is yet to make a public appearance amidst the #EndBadGovernance protests.

The party, in a public notice from the National Publicity Secretary Debo Ologunagba, suggested that Tinubu immediately should speak to Nigerians, emphasizing that they must cut down on fuel prices, stabilize Naira value and make food security visible.

They also expressed their concern that Tinubu’s silence will cause more public anxiety and may even create an impression of the insensitivity of the APC to the public’s emotions and the national environment.

The Party stated that the APC-led security operatives have beaten, shot, and killed innocent citizens while APC thugs attacked innocent people.

They urged Tinubu to speak to the people and set their minds at ease on things like the prices of fuel, food items, and other concerns. The party noted that with proper allocation of the nation’s resources, petrol should not be sold for more than N200 per liter.

The Progressive Democratic Party, also called on President Tinubu to recover the over N50 trillion allegedly stolen by APC leaders, reduce prices of basic items, decrease governance expenses, and invest recovered funds in beneficial programs.
