The People’s Democratic Party will grow in 2027, according to Umar Damagum, the party’s acting national chairman.
When Adolphus Wabara, the chairman of the PDP Board of Trustees, turned 76 years old, Damagum gave him this assurance in Umuahia during the reception.
According to the main host and governor of Enugu State Peter Mba, Senator Wabara will deploy his experience to engineer the renaissance of the party.
Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State and the event chairman, stated in his introductory remarks that the event was to honor a guy who had donated to the PDP from Abia State and that he hoped that “PDP will give birth to the next government in Nigeria” during the nation’s future political era.
Makinde said, “No matter what you are going through, the South East zone is important to Nigeria.” Please, try not to give up.
Wabara responded by saying, “We now know that this party has conscience because he has restored hope in the party Board of Trustees, or BoT.”
The party has the chance to meet together in the South East on an occasion like this.
Speaking at the event, Abia State Governor Alex Otti asked for a minute of silence in memory of the five soldiers who died at Aba and termed Wabara a nice man.
Otti announced that he would be visiting the families of some of the fallen servicemen.
Senator Adolphus Wabara referred to the party as a family in his thank-you speech. “In the next two to three years, every one of these departing individuals will find their roots.”
