Dr. Daniel Olukoya, General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry, announced on Wednesday that peace will reign in the country.
Olukoya made this announcement during a press conference at the church’s global headquarters in Onike-Sabo, Yaba, Lagos, to announce the organization’s 35th anniversary and upcoming annual convention, which will take place at Prayer City, Kilometre 12, Lagos-Ibadan Motorway, from August 16-18, 2024.
Speaking on the subject of the spiritual assembly, “Power From On High,” Pastor Olukoya represented by the Assistant General Oversight, or AGO, in charge of ministerial schools, Pastor Kehinde Adegbolahan stated that when the church at the convention increases prayer, the nation will undergo a supernatural transformation.
In his words: “This program will undoubtedly have a significant positive impact on the nation, because prayers will be offered, including many intercessory prayers for the nations, particularly Nigeria.
There will be peace, stability, and opportunity for economic development.”
At the church’s 35th anniversary and convention, pastor Adegbolahan announced that the spiritual exercise will mostly consist of lessons, music, and prayers.
He claims that there will be teachings. If you look at the convention’s subject, “power from on high,” several pastors will be there to give lectures, and there will be music sporadically while the lessons are going on.
“However, on Saturday, we will offer a variety of concerts. We lead the way in music.
“A lot of music presentations, concerts, and then we have the youth who will be coming in to do presentations, teenagers, children, and, most importantly, award ceremonies.” Award ceremonies to recognise pastors who have done their best over the last 35 years to advance the ministry.”
Pastor Lawrence Olaseinde, the AGO’s supervisor for African nations, Pastor Akinola Wale, the director of administration, Pastor Abiodun Ladejola, the chairman of the convention planning committee, and Pastor Clement Imoru, the senior regional overseer and vice-chairman of the committee, joined Adegbolahan at the briefing.
The officials gave assurance that safety and property security, crowd control, and traffic management had all been addressed.
Conclusion
The emphasis on peace, stability, and economic development is crucial, as Nigeria continues to face challenges such as insecurity, economic fluctuations, and social unrest.
Promoting these values aligns with the broader goal of fostering a more harmonious and prosperous society.
