The Peter Obi Presidential Campaign council has clapped back at Anambra State-born businessman and self-acclaimed billionaire, Arthur Eze, saying that he is part of the establishment and structure that “young Nigerians want to take Nigeria back from.”
The Peter Obi camp also remarked that when power was wrestled from the Peoples Democratic Party and the All Progressives Congress, the likes of Arthur Eze would no longer wield any influence in the country.
This is coming after the Anambra businessman condemned the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, saying that he warned Obi to withdraw from the race but he would not listen, noting that he had told Obi that he was not a part of his plans.
Eze criticized while speaking at the occasion of the 2022 Ofala festival of HRH Igwe (Dr.) Robert Eze, the traditional ruler of Ukpo in the Dunukofia local government area of the State, also added that he told him to drop his ambition, and wait for his turn next time.
Meanwhile, Diran Onifade, the spokes representative for the Presidential candidate of the LP, has described Eze’s comments as unfortunate but not unexpected.
