Philip Shaibu, the deputy governor of Edo State, has just relocated his office out of the States Government House. This is coming despite him revoking the lawsuit he had filed against Governor Godwin Obaseki.
According to a Channels News Television report, Shaibu moved his office out of the Edo State Government House.
Recall that Shaibu had revoked the anti-impeachment lawsuit he filed against Obaseki, at a High Court Abuja just recently.
The lawsuit with the reference number: FHC/ABJ/CS/1027/2023, had sought to stop the governor from trying to impeach him.
But in a statement he personally signed and released, Shaibu who had been in disagreement with the Edo State leader, had further reiterated that the governor was his boss and elder brother. In addition, the deputy governor had cited that the influential people in Edo State and thought leaders had held meetings with him, to withdraw the case.
Indeed , the relocation of Shaibu is coming as a big shock to the residents, as people had been of the opinion that the two had now made peace.
