Reality TV personality and actress, Phyna, has said her final goodbyes to her younger sister, Ruth Otabor, who was laid to rest over the weekend.
Ruth tragically died on August 31, following complications from a road accident involving a Dangote truck that occurred on August 13. She was only 24 years old.
The late Ruth had celebrated her graduation from Auchi Polytechnic barely a week before the crash, which left her with severe injuries and a leg amputation.
On Saturday, her burial was held at the family’s residence in Ogun State. The solemn ceremony drew relatives, friends, and former BBNaija housemates, Christy O and Groovy, who came clad in black to stand by Phyna in her moment of grief.
The service was marked by deep emotions as mourners, alongside Phyna, paid their last respects to the deceased.
Ruth’s passing had earlier sparked widespread sympathy online, with fans and colleagues expressing condolences to the family. Many of them also turned up at the funeral to honor her memory.
The Otabor family has requested privacy as they continue to grieve this painful loss.
