Not only may Pitso Mosimane’s return to Saudi Arabia distress Chiefs supporters, but the management may find it unsettling as well.
Pitso Mosimane is allegedly still a target for Kaizer Chiefs, despite rumors that the former Al Ahli coach is moving on.
There were rumors circulating this week that the 59-year-old was joining the Saudi Pro League again.
In order to speak with the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach, Chiefs, who have been without a head coach for four months, were counting on Mosimane to stay in the nation until the DStv Premiership season ended.
According to Soccer Laduma, Saudi Pro League club Abha Club are interested in signing Mosimane, but Chiefs are not giving up without a fight.
“It is true that the club is currently looking for other coaches to replace Cavin(Johnson), but coach Pitso(Mosimane) is at the top of that list.”Whatever is going on somewhere doesn’t really matter,” Soccer Laduma stated.
“They have kept him (Mosimane) as the top priority to eventually take over as coach of the Chiefs.” Yes, stories of his being wanted in Saudi Arabia may be upsetting because they were hoping to have him mainly at the end of the season.”
Although Molefi Ntseki, who was barely in place for a few months, was brought in, Chiefs were lately connected to Nasreddine Nabi.
