The Police Command in Kaduna State has confirmed the report of a failed abduction attempt made by gunmen on Alhaji Umar Musa, the Paramount Ruler of the Ninzo Chiefdom in Sanga Local Government Area on Wednesday night.
However, ASP Mansir Hassan, the spokesperson of the command, had said that the whereabouts of the chief’s wife was still largely unknown, and that security operatives have since been dispatched to the forests around Sanga to look for the wife.
The Ninzo Development Association, had consequently, released a statement duly signed by its President and the Secretary, Prof. Moses Audi and Silas Anche, to condemned the planned abduction of their traditional ruler that led to the disappearance of his wife.
In addition, the statement called for calm with a view to giving the government a chance to live up to its responsibility and find the Chief’s wife.
