Nigerian recording artiste, Habeeb Okikiola who is mostly known as Portable has tendered a public apology to organizers of the prestigious Nigerian award, Headies Award.
A couple of days ago, it was reported that the organizers of the Headies Award nullified the nominations of a controversial recording artiste after he threatened to murder his fellow nominees and also alleged that he established the occult groups, One Million Boys and Ajah Boys.
In a video shared online, Portable, who was nominated for – ‘Rookie of the Year and ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste,’ tendered his apology to the organizers and urged his fans to keep voting.
The news of his disqualification sparked several reactions online, with some Twitter users condemning the music award show while several others supported the motion.
This apology is coming after Portable spoke out online about not regretting his actions after he was initially disqualified from the award show.
He had said “I’m blessed, I got children, I got motor, I got talents, I got wife, I got children, I never regret my actions, all eyes on me”
