Graham Potter has revealed in Chelsea’s pre-match conference that some vital players would not be in action In their Champions League game Against Aston Villa on Tuesday.
Chelsea thrashed AC Milan 3-0 in their first fixture, last week. Wesley Fofana Chelsea’s newly signed defender who made his debut for Chelsea, will not be in action for the club as he suffered a knee injury in the game and has to be off the pitch for six weeks
Hakim Ziyech will not be in action, as he is not feeling fine, as, for N’golo Kante, his recovery process is still being monitored. Any good reaction from him during training will be a sign that he’s fully recovered
“Hakim [Ziyech] is ill. N’Golo [Kante] was just waiting for his reaction from his training.$#
“It is certainly not ideal [his reaction] so we will have to wait and see the extent of it and go from there,” Potter said.
If Chelsea can defeat Villa then they’ll qualify for the knockout stages.
