The Presidential Election Petitions Court has just fixed Monday, May 8 for the hearing of the petitions challenging the declaration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC flagbearer as the president-elect of the February 25 presidential elections in the country.
This means that the legal battle by candidates challenging the outcome of the 2023 presidential poll will start on May 8.
The National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress, Ahmad El-Marzuq, has already confirmed the date.
Additionally, a top official of the election petitions tribunal has affirmed that the hearing proceedings would begin on the announced date.
