In anticipation of the May 29th Inauguration, a Presidential Inauguration Lecture is currently being held in Abuja. The program is graced by out-going President, Muhammadu Buhari, the incoming president and his vice, several state Governors and other dignitaries.
Additionally, Kenya’s immediate past president, Uhuru Kenyatta had attended the event.
Kenyatta had advised the incoming president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to unite Nigerians, as the February 25 elections had led to several divisions amongst Nigerians, and as Tinubu would soon become the Nigerian President, it’s was his responsibility as the Father of the nation to ensure that the country was not divided.
With less than two days to the Inauguration Ceremony, several measures are being put in place to ensure a stress free and seamless Inauguration.
Meanwhile, Nigerians are looking at the incoming administration, with a lot of expectations hoping that at least things would change for the better with the new regime.
