The 21bn State house medical center was inaugurated today, which saw the attendance of the first lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari who joined her husband in the commissioning.
Most importantly the Presidential wing of the state medical center was also commissioned in the premises of the Presidential villa.
Speaking about the addition of the Presidential wing, the first lady said that she came up with the idea after her husband had to spend 104 days in London for treatment, in 2017.
She further said that with the commissioning of the Presidential wing, Nigerian leaders do not have to travel abroad for Medical treatment, all they need to do is just fly in experts to treat them.
“On whether the medical center will now make it unnecessary for Nigerian leaders to receive treatment abroad, she responded, “Yes! This one is for the health and wellness of the First Family. They don’t need to go abroad now. They only need to maybe fly in experts to help our people. You know.
