The Spanish league will begin implementing rules that see officials give explanations live over the airwaves after controversial decisions.
The goal is, hopefully, to increase the clarity around major talking points during La Liga games, and it seems that every ground in Spain will participate apart from Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu due to an issue that the broadcasters simply can’t avoid in Madrid. It’s said that broadcasters can’t have the referee directly linked in the Bernabeu for long enough to broadcast their decision.
There is no ban or punishment of Real Madrid related to this. The Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) has confirmed that they can’t transmit the audio from there as of yet, and won’t transmit it when the correct operational facilities simply aren’t available.

Tensions between La Liga, the FSF and Real Madrid regarding various Spanish league and broadcasting controversies are no strangers, so it is likely there will be further dispute if anything important happens at the Bernabeu in the coming year; as such, it will have further scrutiny when decisions must occur.
The system will then be fully introduced from the 10 th match-day on, after its trial on the 1st match-day, but at least two, maybe 3-4 games, depending on how the matches fare, won’t receive the explanations. Madrid start their campaign with a trip to Espanyol before eventually playing at home to the promoted Catalan side.
