Christ Embassy church in Benin, Edo State has recently received a generous donation of ₦105 million from Divine Ikubor, a fast-rising Afrobeats star widely known as Rema. This was revealed during a Sunday service, when Rema used the medium to thank the church for its continuous support and prayers.

Rema’s contribution was wisely distributed to cover different activities of the church. He gave ₦40 million as the church’s infrastructure development fund, ₦20 million for the Rhapsody of Realities devotionals and ₦25 million for the development of the church’s teen ministry. He also gave ₦20 million to support to the widows in the church.

Talking about the personal experience with the church, Rema narrated how helpful the church has been to his family after the demise of his father. The church’s pastors had established a shop for his mother to run which was very crucial as the family struggled to overcome several hurdles.

Rema’s act of giving back to the community that stood by him during his early years underscores his commitment to service and gratitude. This has been well received by fans, making his role as a positive role model in the society as well as in music production unchallenged.
