Despite being an ardent supporter of Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential side of the ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has praised the newly inaugurated President, Tinubu for his achievements in his first week of office.

According to him, the exchange rate is becoming normal, fuel subsidy has been scrapped. He has been able to peacefully resolve the strike issue of the NLC. He has also met with the heads of strategic agencies and institutions, to give orders for his new administration.

He further listed the achievement of the president, as he has been able to get the approval of the military too, the stock market has increased and for now, the country is peaceful.

He also admitted even though the President is involved in illegal dealings, he actually did well in his first week of office for someone who recieved so much backlash and no support from Nigerian youths.

“However, I do note that fuel subsidy is gone. A single Naira exchange rate is emerging. The NLC has been persuaded to see reason. And President Tinubu is meeting with heads of strategic agencies and institutions, giving them executive direction. “The military is harmoniously subordinate to his regime. Nigeria has just posted a trade surplus. The stock market has received a boost and rallied. And there is relative peace in the country. “Yes, he has known cartel links. Nevertheless, President Bola Tinubu has performed very well in his first week in office”

The President first week was plauged with so much clamourings due to the effects from the removal of fuel subsidy, several unions threatened to go on strike actions, however the president was able to sort out everything. As the NLC have been restrained from embarking on their Proposed Nationwide strike by the National Industrial Court.
