Dolores Aveiro, Cristiano Ronaldo’s mother, has denied that her son and longstanding girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, are having relationship troubles.
Last month, rumors in Spanish and Portuguese media said that the striker was “fed up” with the Spanish model and influencer and that they were on the verge of splitting up.
Georgina, 29, responded by rejecting a separation from her seven-year relationship, posting on social media,
“The jealous makes up a rumor, the gossipy spread it and the idiot believes it.”
Cristiano, 38, also shared a sweet shot of himself kissing the stunning brunette while they had a meal and drink on his Instagram page, writing, “Cheers to love.”
According to the Daily Mail, Ronaldo’s mother, 68, labeled any suggestions that the footballer’s relationship with Georgina fell apart overnight as “lies” when she attended a store opening in her native Madeira on Thursday.
Ronaldo and Rodriguez have been dating since 2017 and are currently located in Saudi Arabia, where the player plays for Al-Nassr.
