Real Sociedad newly signed player may not be able to feature in the rest matches of the season, after sustaining a major Injury which he ruptured his anterior crucite ligament.
Sadiq suffered this injury in Real Sociedad’s match against Getafe, which they lost on a 2-1 defeat, on Sunday night.
Real Sociedad has updated the public about Sadiq’s situation today.
According to Real Sociedad, Sadiq suffered a rupture of anterior Crucite ligament, and he’s to undergo surgery. Further information will be revealed in the coming days.
“Sadiq has been diagnosed with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament. The player will undergo surgical treatment,”reads a statement on the club’s official website.

Sadiq just recently joined, Sociedad from Almeria, and has been doing quite well for his new club, this information also means that he wouldn’t feature in Nigeria’s international friendly match against Almeria.
