Mohamed Salah has openly expressed his discontent with Liverpool. Coach Arne Slot, after the Reds’ 3-3 stalemate with Leeds United at Elland Road, stated that his rapport with the Dutch manager has deteriorated and hinting that he might depart from the club shortly.
Liverpool’s slump persisted with the draw, placing them eighth in the Premier League after securing two victories in their previous 10 games. Salah, who achieved 57 goal involvements season, was once more benched, marking his third straight match as an unused substitute or off the field.

After the game, the Egyptian shared his disappointment, saying he feels “betrayed” by the club. He revealed that he received promises during the summer, which he feels were not honored.
“I have contributed a lot to this club. Now I find myself on the bench. I’m not sure why,” Salah stated, mentioning that his rapport with Slot seems to have declined.
Salah also implied an exit, confessing he is uncertain about his plans after this month. He stated he will be present at Anfield for the Brighton match, but indicated it might serve as a goodbye.
“I’ll be there to enjoy it. I don’t know what’s going to happen,” he said, ahead of leaving to join Egypt’s AFCON squad on December 15.
