Sanwo-Olu Hails Oba Saheed Elegushi at 15th Coronation Anniversary

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, on his 15th coronation anniversary. In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, the governor praised Oba Elegushi for promoting peace, growth, and development within his domain.

Sanwo-Olu said, “On behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, and family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I congratulate the Elegushi of the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Kusenla III, on his 15th coronation anniversary.”

He described the monarch as a visionary and vibrant leader who is committed, devoted, selfless, and passionate about community service. Sanwo-Olu emphasized that Oba Elegushi’s reign has been a blessing to the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom, bringing progress and positive change.

Oba Saheed Elegushi Commended for Development and Leadership

The governor applauded Oba Saheed Elegushi’s development policies and his efforts in building a prosperous Ikate-Elegushi. He said the people are fortunate to have a dedicated and caring monarch leading them.

Sanwo-Olu stated, “The people of the kingdom are lucky to have a dedicated, loving, and caring monarch as their traditional ruler. So, he deserves all the accolades for the impactful and purposeful life that he has lived, especially in the last 15 years of his reign.”

He further described Oba Saheed Elegushi as a shining example of dedication and selflessness, noting that under his reign, Ikate-Elegushi has become a top destination for real estate development, entertainment, leisure, and hospitality.

Sanwo-Olu Prays for More Years of Success for Oba Saheed Elegushi

Sanwo-Olu praised the traditional ruler’s passion for the growth and development of his people. He highlighted that since ascending the throne 15 years ago, Oba Elegushi has consistently shown excellent leadership.

He said, “Since ascending the throne of his forefathers 15 years ago, Oba Elegushi has displayed exemplary leadership in his domain. I commend his passion and commitment to the growth and development of Ikate-Elegushi as a traditional ruler.”

The governor also prayed for Oba Saheed Elegushi, asking God to grant him good health, wisdom, and knowledge for a reign of peace and prosperity.

He added, “As Oba Saheed Elegushi celebrates his 15 years on the throne, I pray that God will continue to bestow on him good health, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding for a continuous reign of peace and prosperity in Ikate-Elegushi. He will witness many more fruitful years on the throne of his forefathers.”

While Lagos continues to face challenges, moments like this show that tradition and leadership still hold a special place in the hearts of the people.
