At least eight people have been fatally shot at and 13 persons left injured after a gunman in a moving car had openly shot at passers-by in a town south of the Serbian capital and went on the run.
According to state television, the incident had occurred on Thursday evening near the town of Mladenovac.
It was gathered that the 21-year-old attacker used an automatic weapon to shoot randomly at people.
Meanwhile, police officials are still looking for the suspect who fled after the attack, and ambulances, together with special police and helicopter units, have been sent to the area.
