Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, on Tuesday, October 24, launched a committee to advise the state government on the remuneration of Principals of public secondary schools in the state.
While inaugurating the committee, Tambuwal commented that the plan for the enhanced pay package of principals was to commensurate their responsibilities.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the governor, Muhammad Bello, in Sokoto State.
Meanwhile, Tambuwal had urged the 11-man committee led by a former Head of Service in the state, Dr. Buhari Bello, with the task of coming up with proper modalities for the implementation of the planned incentives.
