Senator Ademola Adeleke has officially taken over as the new Governor of Osun state after taking an oath of office.
The oath of office had been administered to the Governor by the State Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Adepele-Ojo, at approximately 11:45 am.
Adeleke had previously arrived at the venue at 11:20 am on Sunday, 27th Nov 2022 after which his deputy mounted the podium to take his oath of office before the latest governor took his turn.
Adeleke had arrived at the venue, accompanied by his music star nephew, David ‘Davido’ Adeleke, and had acknowledged the cheers from the masses already waiting for the ceremony.
